How To Add A Link To The Main Menu In Joomla That Connects To Your Article

1.  Go to www.yourwebsite.com/administrator
   
   Replace www.yourwebsite.com with your website address
   
   
2. Login using your Joomla administrator username and password
3. Once logged in
   
   On the main menu (Top left of screen) hover over "Menus"  and click "Main Menu"
   
   
4. The Menu Manager page opens
   
   At the top right of the page Click "New"
   
   
5. The Article Layout page opens
   
   Click "Articles"
   Click "Article Layout"
   
   Write your article in the window using the format tools to adjust the article default style
6. The Menu Item:[new] page opens
7. Complete the form:
   
   Enter your link title
   Alias can be left as blank
   Select the menu from the drop down list that your link should appear in
   Click Select - Top right and in the pop up window that opens click you article you want to link to and click ok
8. Click "Save" - Top right
9. Your menu link has been created, published and linked to your article
